Enguany and letos

I can't think of any other languages having a single word for this year like Catalan enguany and Czech letos, which even has the form letošní for this year's. Macedonian has годинaва (godinava), which is actually made up of godina (year) + the suffix va, which agrees with godina, a feminine noun, but this is a productive process: мажов (this man), женава (this woman), детево (this child), etc.

Godina, by the way, is a false friend with Czech hodina and Polish godzina, both meaning hour.

Enguany soa como algo misterioso... o "en" em catalão não tem relação com o "en" espanhol e o "em" português? Talvez a etimologia aponte algo como o macedônio.
Eslovaco talvez tenha um "letos" - mm, mas segundo o Lexico achei apenas "tohoto roku".

É...interessante mesmo!
