German eu - Czech aj

For some reason, German eu (pronounced oy) becomes aj (pronounced like long the word eye) in some Czech words. German Hakenkreuz (swastika) becomes haknkrajc and Werkzeug (tool) becomes verkcajk. I wonder if some German dialect has had anything to do with or whether the German word has been for so long in the Czech language that it somehow has evolved the same way like other Czech words.

Isso nao me surprenderia. Tem mas coisas - p.e. em alemao se diz nalguns casos 'a' e em tcheco isso da 'o'. P.e. Na ja = no jo, halt = holt, gar = kór. Isso tem a sua base nos dialetos e com certeza aquilo: eu = aj (Neumann = Najman) também...
