Burro in three Romance languages

The less versed could say that Spanish and Portuguese burro for donkey and Italian burro for butter are false cognates. Wrong, they aren't even cognates, that is, come from the same source. Spanish and Portuguese burro comes from Latin burrus, small, shaggy horse, whereas Italian burro ultimately comes from Latin butyrum and Greek βούτυρον, butter.
