Funny how some words are just borrowed by a lot of nations. German Pech (bad luck) is used in Polish, Czech, Slovak, and Hungarian, and who knows where else. Does it mean that these peoples didn't have a concept for it before they encountered the Germans or are the Germans notorious for their bad luck?
Qual é mais comum, pech ou smůla?
ReplyDeletePech também é usado em holandês.
